IT Infrastructure Manager

After a successful internal promotion, we need a new Infrastructure Manager. Ideally we want you to have experience, and a proven track record. You’ll be responsible for keeping the backbone of the systems running, ensuring our staff can do their jobs, and our customers can get in touch. Your attitude, personal style and enthusiasm are just as important as your technical skills. If you can prove to us you’ve got that blend, we’ll certainly consider you.
Responsible for the operational delivery of the IT operational project plan, you will work as part of the bdht management team and will ensure the delivery of an efficient and secure IT service. Ensuring that the systems are reliable, consistent, and fit for purpose will allow our staff to concentrate on delivering excellent customer service to our customers.
About you
Our ideal candidates will have:

ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation
-
Relevant technical experience (Networking / Microsoft / Communications)

Solid experience working in an infrastructure and/or network support role

Experience of implementation of new applications to end users, delivering on multiple projects on time
-
Knowledge of Microsoft / VMWare / Citrix / O365 (or the majority of these)

Line management or coaching and mentoring experience

The ability to take ownership of incidents and services request, being the point of contact for an operational service issues.

The ability to deal with difficult situations in a calm and balanced manner

Good communication skills and the ability to listens to staff, customers and communities, without making judgements or assumptions

The ability to influence and effectively deliver change management projects
